In addition to reducing down-time for wind turbines, the wind turbine blade service deal could bring “significant cost savings for wind farm developers and investors in the future,” according to King & Carver.

Under the agreement, GCube's loss adjustment and engineering team will work directly with Knight & Carver to dispatch wind turbine blade inspectors and provide an initial, on site diagnosis within 48 hours.

The initial analysis, ahead of a formal report that includes photos, analysis and repair estimates, provides first hand feedback that helps fast track the repair of wind turbine blades, whilst handling the operation in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
