Cyberhawk to expand into Portuguese market

Cyberhawk Innovations has announced a new partnership with Portugal’s leading engineering service provider and contractor Construção e Manutenção Electromecânica (CME).

The agreement will see customers in Portuguese speaking markets benefit from what thea unique combination of Cyberhawk’s industry leading cloud based asset management software teamed with CME’s detailed local knowledge and UAV solution. 

Craig Roberts, CEO at Cyberhawk, sees the partnership as a significant boost in increasing Cyberhawk’s presence in Europe.  By providing ‘inspection pilot’ training alongside iHawk, a cloud-based software which allows intuitive access to inspection data and imagery captured by UAVs*, he hopes that Cyberhawk can enable CME to safely and efficiently deliver higher inspection standards and a "high definition image behind each defect classification".

CME’s local knowledge and presence will allow us to cost effectively deliver our reliable, proven and industry leading solution in the electricity utilities, renewables, infrastructure and petrochemical industries.”

Francisco Pintor, general manager at CME said: “The introduction of UAVs to our existing portfolio, particularly within our infrastructure inspection services, is a natural progression which increases the reliability, detail, efficiency and safety of our operations.”

The two companies have already successfully completed projects in Portugal, with clients including REN and EDP.
