The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is excited to announce that for the first time ever, the US Secretary of Energy will join us at the AWEA WINDPOWER 2015 Conference & Exhibition. Specifically, Dr Ernest Moniz will address conference attendees during the Welcome & Opening Session on Tuesday, May 19.

Dr Moniz, who addressed attendees at the 2014 Solar Power International conference and exhibition in Las Vegas last year, has long supported renewable energy innovations as a means to address our country’s energy challenges.

“As a readily expandable, domestic source of clean, renewable energy, wind power is paving the way to a low-carbon future that protects our air and water while providing affordable, renewable electricity to American families and businesses,” said Dr Moniz last summer.
