Gamesa sells a 25.5 MW wind farm to Eren

Greece-based wind farm comprises 30 G52-850 kW wind turbines.

The Kithaironas wind farm, developed and promoted by Gamesa, is located in Thivas (in the region of Viotia).

With the purchase, Eren seeks to further develop its presence in Greece, where it owns 35 MWp of solar wind farms. In addition, Eren has many wind projects currently under development with capacities totalling hundreds of MWs.

Gamesa entered the Greek market in 1999. It has developed 87 MW of wind power and has a project portfolio of 547 MW at varying stages of development. Additionally, Gamesa performs operation and maintenance services on turbines totalling 166 MW.
