Job: Publisher, Materials Science Journals - based in Oxford or Amsterdam

Elsevier - publisher of Renewable Energy Focus - is looking for an entrepreneurial individual to maintain, develop, and take complete publishing responsibility for a defined list of journals within materials science...

This role also has a development focus on the field of energy materials. The role will balance publishing knowledge with entrepreneurial skills and a keen interest in business development and managing relationships.

The materials science team is a small, friendly team based across 3 of our offices in Oxford, Amsterdam, and Beijing. We are looking to recruit this person to work at one of our major offices: Oxford or Amsterdam, but please note that you must already have a valid work permit for these locations as unfortunately we cannot secure one for you.

Any Publisher would need to have a good educational background and keen interest in scientific publishing; good communication skills, both externally and internally; and would have to be prepared to work somewhat independently from the rest of the immediate team while also contributing to team initiatives and assisting and advising other publishers in the team as necessary.
