The solar PV module is made up of 60 6-inch deep blue cells called 'Honey' – a name honouring Trina Solar's quest to target a 'sweet spot' when optimising a module's cost v.s. efficiency.

The solar module features an improved back sheet, EVA; string ribbon and coating glass, giving it an output range of 245-260 W and a module efficiency of up to 15.9%.

It is expected to be available in the last quarter of this year.
