The Creditors’ Assembly has approved of the acquisition. The P21, which focused energy solutions for the telecommunications industry, was established as a buy-out by former employees of Mannesmann. It filed for insolvency in March 2011.

Heliocentris Energy Solutions, CEO, Dr. Henrik Colell says: “For a long time, we have regarded company acquisitions as a growth option. This step will also accelerate our entry into industrial business. Promising negotiations with regard to major projects are already ongoing.”

P21 is currently developing solutions which enable customers operate autonomous energy systems using solar photovoltaics (PV) and wind power.
