Scottish 47.5 MW wind farm gets planning approval

E.ON has been granted planning permission to build a 47.5 MW onshore wind farm near Garve in the Scottish Highlands.

The wind farm will consist of 19 wind turbines.

Dave Rogers, Regional Director of Renewables for E.ON in the UK, says: "The development can not only help Scotland meet its renewable energy targets but also help to provide clean renewable electricity for the country.

"We're really looking forward to working with the local community and to developing a site that we can all be proud of."

No further information was offered by E.ON.
