SunEdison develops 400 MW of solar power in South Korea

SunEdison has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop 400 MW of solar power plants in south-eastern Korea.

The MoU is with Gyeongsangnam-do (GSND), a provincial government in south-eastern Korea.

SunEdison would utilise public land and building rooftops to build the solar power plants and GSND would support SunEdison in securing the proper land or building areas and in completing the authorisation and permission processes.

The solar power projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
