RES reveal plans for Scottish wind farm

Renewable energy developer RES proposes an 11 turbine wind farm between New Luce, Kirkcowan and Glenluce, in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

It is expected that the wind farm will reach a capacity of 25.3 MW.

Heather Donald, RES, Project Manager, says: “We hope to submit a planning application in the early autumn and are going to start a consultation process with the local community to present our current plans. This process will enable the community to provide comments and feedback on our proposal.”

Public consultation exhibitions about the wind farm will be held at Glenluce Hall on Saturday 4 September.
