South Korea sets up 1.5tr won green fund

South Korea is setting up a 1.5 trillion won (~US$1.25 billion) green fund.

The state-owned Korea Finance Corp (KoFC) will, according to Reuters, set up the green fund in August, which will focus mainly on emissions reduction and energy efficiency.

The green fund is expected to total 2.4tr won when including private sector contributions.
