Aker Solutions, a provider of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services to the natural resources and energy markets, will design and build the biomass power plant next to the Tullis Russell paper mill in Scotland under contract to the RWE npower renewables.

Commercial operation of the biomass plant is scheduled for late 2012.
