REC Peak Energy solar module ups efficiency

REC has increased the efficiency of its Peak Energy solar module with an average of 9 W per solar module.

REC says the increase comes due to more efficient cell and glass design on the solar modules.

Introduction of three bus bars and improved contact between the solar cell and metal fingers, improves electrical flow, producing an average power gain of 9 W.

The REC glass etching process completed in house, utilises Sunarc technology to increase energy production for the solar modules by 2%.

The REC Peak Energy solar module is the first commercial product to be produced at REC's new manufacturing facility in Singapore.
