CENTROSOLAR increases solar PV module production

Centrosolar Sonnenstromfabrik GmbH, a subsidiary of CENTROSOLAR Group AG, has increased its production capacity of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules in Germany by 44% to 155 MWp.

With a capacity of 45 MWp, the new solar module production line will be producing an extra 1000 solar modules a day. The new line is also capable of building 72-cell high-performance solar PV modules with an output of up to 300 Wp.

The crystalline solar modules being manufactured are made for solar photovoltaic (PV) installations on private houses.

Dr Alexander Kirsch, Management Board Chairman of CENTROSOLAR Group AG, says: "Quality manufacturing in Germany is a major aspect of our business success, both in Germany and internationally. Demand for our modules from Wismar meant the output of the existing three lines was already fully taken up.

“The extra capacity will now enable us to meet domestic and international demand even more effectively."
