The two black solar PV modules – TSM-DC01 Black (monocrystalline) and TSM-PC05 Black (multicrystalline) – are made using a black, 46mm wide anodised aluminium frame.

The TSM-DC01 Black has a power output of 170-185 Wp with a conversion efficiency up to 14.5%. The multicrystalline TSM-OC05 Black has a power output of 215-235 Wp and module efficiencies of up to 14.4%.

Trina Solar developed the black residential solar PV modules in response to “bourgeoning demand for PV residential systems around the world.”

The solar PV modules will be available on European and North American markets in the second half of 2010.

Large-scale systems PV module

Trina Solar’s new multicrystalline TSM-PC14 for large, ground-mounted solar PV systems, has a power output of 265-290 Wp and a conversion efficiency of up to 14.95%.

Trina Solar says “the new module is made to meet the needs of a growing number of utility and large-scale commercial solar PV projects.”

The TSM-PC14 solar PV modules will also be available on European and North American markets in the second half of 2010.
