The name simplifies the branding of Windspire and its lead product, while leveraging the innovation of the Windspire wind turbine, Windspire says.

In conjunction with the name change, the wind turbine company is launching WindspireEnergy.com, a new buyer-focused website.

The 30-ft Windspire is a vertical axis wind turbine designed for use in urban, suburban and rural areas.
