Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order entailing 39 V110-2.0 MW turbines, for a Sempra US Gas & Power, LCC in Minnesota. The project, dubbed “Black Oak,” totals 78 MW.

The scope of the contract covers supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year “Active Output Management” 5000 service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2016, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2016.
