IRES 2015
IRES 2015 is being organised by Eurosolar (the European Association for Renewable Energy) and the World Council for Renewable Energy (WCRE).
The 2015 edition of the International Renewable Energy Storage Conference will take place for the first time in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf and the non-profit organisation OTTI eV (East Bavaria Technology Transfer Institute).
The IRES conference series is a leading forum for the discussion of the most pressing problems in renewable energy storage, drawing together one of the largest gatherings of scientific and economic experts worldwide on this key topic.
The IRES 2015 conference will include more than 200 scientific presentations in the form of talks and posters.
Energy Storage Europe
The Energy Storage Europe Conference provides state-of-the-art solutions and applications for the transformation of the electric power system.
A key focus of the 4th edition in 2015 is on clear applications, markets, and deal-making. Another focus will be commercial and industrial energy storage solutions for the energy industry in Europe. Residential energy storage and mobility also play important roles.
Political frameworks and market developments will also be discussed, including business cases, business models, and innovative financing mechanisms.
The Energy Storage Europe programme will concentrate on the business & technical aspects of energy storage, while IRES will cover the more scientific aspects.
