The agreement, which starts in May 2009, will see Plantation Energy supplied with harvest residues from Great Southern’s blue gum pulpwood plantation estate.

Plantation Energy will use the residues to produce DBF pellets at its $25 million biomass fuel pellet facility, which has a capacity of 250,000 tonnes per annum and is expected to be commissioned in March 2009.
