Boralex says it expects the La Vallée wind power farm to start operating by the end of 2013. According to a statement, all the energy produced will be sold to Électricité de France under a long-term 15 year contract.
The wind farm will consist of 16 Gamesa G90 wind turbines. Long term project financing will be provided by a banking consortium made up of OSEO, Crédit Coopératif and Crédit Mutuel ARKEA.
Currently, Boralex reports that it operates an asset base with an installed capacity of more than 500 MW in Canada, the Northeastern United States and France.
