The complimentary design service delivers preliminary solar PV system layouts and performance estimates for large rooftop installations. Upon submitting a short site survey form, Trina Solar can craft custom-tailored solar PV installation plans.

The design service comes online as Trina Solar also announces the availability of its 60-cell, up to 260 W Honey solar PV module series for North America.

The Honey solar PV cell features a number of advancements including greater surface area and more efficient capture of sunlight. Laboratory tests, confirmed by TUV Rheinland in September 2011, demonstrated that a 60 Honey solar PV cell module reached a 274 W peak.
