The Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) has been sited as the source for the news that the 12 projects, representing an investment of US$1.6 billion, are in the pipeline for 2013.

A further 10 wind projects totalling 550 MW are expected to come into operation by mid-2012, according to the Daily Times.
