The two companies have formed a joint venture, Ocean Energy Kosrae, which has entered a 25 year power purchase agreement with Kosrae Utilities Authority for the wave power project.

The State of Kosrae could become the first Island in the world to be completely powered by wave energy and other renewable energy sources.
