PNE WIND has now submitted the documentation required for the binding agreement to the grid connection to operator TenneT, and the wind company aims to begin construction of the offshore wind farm in 2012.
Vestas has confirmed it will supply 84 of its V112 3 MW offshore wind turbines for the project.
PNE WIND has also entered preliminary contracts with MT Højgaard A/S for monopile foundations, Draka Norsk Kabel AS for internal wind farm cabling, and ALSTOM Grid GmbH for the transformer station.
