At the end of December SunPower completed the sale of the 44 MW Montalto di Castro solar park to a consortium that includes MetLife, Fondo PPP Italia, and Voigt & Collegen.

A week later, the US solar company completed the sale of its 13 MW Solar Roma solar power plant to Allianz renewable Energy Partners IV Ltd.

"The finalised sale of the Solare Roma power plant, along with our recently announced Montalto di Castro 44 MW solar park, completes our 2010 plan to develop, construct and monetise 85 MW of projects in Italy," says Dennis Arriola, SunPower Chief Financial Officer.
