The solar PV power plants will be erected in the Marche region, between the province of Macerata and Ancona between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine Mountains.

They are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010.

Siemens is responsible for the turnkey construction, engineering and project management. Each plant will be equipped with 5400 solar PV panels.
