Green Energy Slovakia is responsible for developing the solar PV project and Phoenix Solar has already started with preparations for construction.

More than 29,000 solar modules from First Solar and inverters from SMA will be used.

The solar PV plant will be built around 80 km from Bratislava on two neighbouring plots of agricultural land and be connected to the grid before the end of this year.

Slovakia’s feed-in tariff offers €0.425/kWh.
