Leading motor manufacturers, hydrogen fuel suppliers, the Mayor of London’s Office, and energy consultancies from around the world today signed up to the €38 million HyFIVE project. A total of 110 hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles will be deployed at several European locations – Bolzano, Copenhagen, Innsbruck, London, Munich and Stuttgart – alongside new clusters of hydrogen refueling stations.

German-based SFC Energy has made the first deliveries of its new portable Jenny 1200 fuel cell generator to the US Air Force. The Jenny 1200 was developed specifically for faster battery charging in defence applications, and packs twice the power of its predecessor model in almost the same size.
